Digimon World 3 is a role-playing video game created by Bandai for the PlayStation. You play as a child called Junior who enters an online virtual reality MMORPG called "Digimon Online", which is run by the "MAGAMI" corporation. A terrorist attack on the Internet traps Junior and his friends inside the game and he sets out to stop them with his Digimon partners.
Unlike past Digimon World games, battles against wild Digimon are random and the battle system although turn-based is very different from Digimon World 2, the most notable distinction is battles are one on one instead of three on three although you may tag in a different Digimon, battles also feature three types of digivolution; normal, Blast, and DNA digivolution.

Finished after 175 hours. It took me three whole months, but I got the epic weapons, the epic cards and all the digievolutions I wanted (not the two hardest digievolutions to get), so that did the playthrough longer (first time I finished this game thirteen years ago, I lasted 50 hours less).

Not a perfect game at all, but I like it. Otherwise, I wouldn't have been playing it for so long.

Digimon world 3 é um jogo clássico de RPG, sendo dependente de leveling para progredir na história e com uma mecânica paralela de Card Game, um minigame presente no jogo, que não é necessário para finalizar a história principal em si, mas pode render algumas horas a mais de diversões e alguns equipamentos lendários.
O jogo é bem simples, sendo um RPG de turno e se você tiver um pouco de paciência para upar, não vai encontrar dificuldades para progredir. Algumas quests são difíceis já que os jogos da época não tinha um sistema de assistência no minimapa com "quest markers" mas nada impossível.
A história também é muito boa, com bastante política, traições, uma luta pelo poder envolvendo diferentes nações do mundo, um super-hacker, um mundo digital, um super vírus capaz de infectar qualquer coisa e que coincidentemente tudo sucumbe a você, um garoto que foi conhecer o jogo, ficou preso nele (SAO?) e decidiu jogar, já que não dava pra deslogar, até que no fim você resolve toda treta. Ah sim, um "isekai" clássico.
Talvez hoje em dia ninguém tenha interesse nesses antigos bichinhos digitais, mas esse jogo tem um lugar especial nas minhas memórias. Ah sim, e apesar da época, os gráficos do jogo ainda hoje são bonitos, muito bem feito
