Arcade platform game, based on the license of those bright-haired cute naked chaps. Each scrolling level was initially shrouded in an animated "mist". Large rectangles of mist could be cleared by running around platforms and ladders in the correct order. As the mist cleared, a brightly-coloured background was revealed. All the usual platform enemies and pickups abounded.

Beat. Even though this game was very simple, cheaply made, and sickeningly kiddie, there was something relaxing about it. I mostly used the pink one for high jumps. The blue underwater one was good for a few levels, but the other 2 just seemed to be fodder to help preserve the hp of the good characters. The game was pretty easy though there were some tricky parts with traps. The platforming and combat was fairly easy; not even any bosses. There was something a little compelling about coloring the world as the objective, but all the frames felt arbitrary. I think this concept could have been expanded on to make an even more unique game. I really liked being able to swap between the 4 characters on the fly, and their hp being tracked separately. Imagine playing Super Mario bros 2 like that. A lot of tactical possibilities. Would have been nice to see more differences between the characters. It was also cool how you could throw power ups and treasure as weapons.
