Another solid Metroid hack
Compared to Metroid Subversion and the original Super Metroid - this is ok. There’s definitely some good level design, movement, and exploration, but it doesn’t add much to the original.
I much much prefer Subversion, which has a massive creative map and great novel mechanics. This just feels like an alternative Super Metroid with some tweaks, which isn’t as interesting.
Still, if you love Metroid it’s worth a play through
