Deer Journey is quite similar to Shelter but it's more linear (the developer has no problem in calling it a walking simulator) and more realistic in terms of style. Which isn't great when that makes certain stiff elements more notable but is really great when it generates amazing views and such a great audio. With surround sound and pumped up volume, you really feel like you're in the forest. The game is about a young deer being outcasted by the older deers, becoming an adult and getting to a position in which he can do the same to other deers (which is one of the very few real choices you can make during the game). It's short and evocative, in my opinion not as good as Shelter but it's a fine game. My daughter loved Shelter 3 and this one too.
