I have several picross games but this one is one of my favorites simply because it has a placeholder tool (temporary pink squares). I bought this on the eShop years ago when it was the latest in the series, and I've been slowly working my way through all the puzzles. Today I finally completed the last one in this edition except for the special puzzles (unlocked if the other games are purchased) and mega picross which I never got very good at.

The puzzles start out pretty simplistic. One of the first ones I completed in 20 seconds and looks like a rectangle with squares for legs. It's a Komodo Dragon. Ok, I'll take their word for it. The later ones get much bigger and take 10-30 minutes. Maybe up to an hour if I get stuck.

It's a good stress relieving game. It's like when they say to count to ten to calm down, this is like that but with much more counting. Unless I fill in every space and a row doesn't line up right, then it's time to panic.
