Beat on Hard. I played through twice back to back, as the guy and then as the girl. It took about 5 hours for 2 completions; a shockingly low play time. The guy has better horizontal reach on his sword while the girl has better up and down vertical reach. This made the 2nd playthrough a little novel but I did not find too much of a difference. The girl had a harder time with the 1st level jet boss because there was not much moving around that could be done while the jet was spinning; so the boss was either in range or not. I did find it far too easy to let go and fall to my death. The girl also had more trouble with the bad cyborg because she could not outreach his sword. But she had a huge advantage for the 3rd fight against him because she could stay on the top platform completely out of range of any of his attacks while being able to just barely hit him in the head when he high jumped. I did not really find much use for the other moves; the slide was occasionally useful to go under …

I did not really find much use for the other moves; the slide was occasionally useful to go under a boss, the kick was ok for the long falling section in the final stage, and screw attack was just unreliable. It was just best to use the sword. The other moves also put me at huge risk of taking contact damage; a very annoying mechanic that does not make sense in this game. I mean how come I take damage if my foot hits a guy in the head when I try to jump over him. The overall controls were excellent; combat, parkouring up and off of platforms, and sticking to walls and ceilings like spiderman. More games need this kind of platforming. The bosses were plenty and varied. Some had very predictable patterns while others were more difficult to deal with. By the time I reached the final boss I had almost 20 special attacks and completely wrecked him with that. I think the girl was a bit better because she could hit the weak spot by hanging from the platform instead of having to drop down like the guy, thus making it easier to go back and forth hitting the 2 spots. Where the game went wrong was amount of content. It really needed longer and/or more stages and would have been amazing as a Metroidvania. It also would have helped if there was any story text in the game.
