Intro
Town to City is a casual, relaxing city builder in which it's seemingly impossible to fail while you build up a place where everything is blocky.
The Good
- Very casual.
- Freely move buildings.
- Voxel graphics make this stand out.
The Bad
- Doesn't stand out in any other way like Tropico, Frostpunk or Surviving Mars.
- Starter houses are identical except for the colour.
- Decorations get in the way when moving stuff around.
- Happiness requirements still make you optimise stuff instead of building a nice-looking village.
- The game isn't pretty enough to bother with that anyway.
Conclusion
I really appreciate making a game player-friendly like this but Town to City doesn't have enough personality to keep me interested.
