ETD2 is a tower defense game. Monsters go from point A to B and you build towers to stop them before they get there.

Okay, so as the world's most foremost connaisseur of tower defense games let me just explain the two leading branches in the genre.

There are TD games in which you can influence where the enemy goes, and there are TD games in which you can't. Games in the latter category suffer severely from this lack of mazing (or however you can redirect enemies), have to make up for that somehow and usually fail.

ETD2 is one of those games. There are fairly uninteresting enemies that follow a short, set path towards the exit. You don't have any abilities, just towers to stop them. On top of that the game is quite ugly, there is no pause building …

On top of that the game is quite ugly, there is no pause building and indeed the game only comes to a halt once every 5 rounds. Mostly the game is just boring because you 200% have to use the right damage type. Meh.
