Fleeting Moments of Fun

A physics based puzzle/platformer with a minimalistic style. You control a cube using other white cubes to go up or down. The goal is to reach a larger blue cube (square? because it's 2D).

Pros:

  • Cool art style if you like minimalism
  • Good sense of acceleration when the cube moves
  • Changing direction mid air is interesting
  • Steam cards

Cons:

  • Terrible and confusing menu. I had to Alt+Esc to try to quit, brought up task manager, force quit through windows. Awful! Not user friendly.
  • No controller support. I personally like using my corded xbox 360 controller. This game does not support that.
  • Very difficult but not in a good, challenging way. Just frustrating.
  • No music. Some ambient or trippy/slow/moody music might help.

This came in a bundle of other physics games so luckily I didn't pay much for it. Gravilon is pretty bad but someone might like it.

Mixed reviews on Steam. I was debating a 1 star but there were fleeting moments of fun had. Overall, it's not very fun or worth your time and money.

Shitty Menu

If you're into hard, frustrating platformers with wonky controls Gravilon might be your thing. Even so, i can't recommend it because of the dreadful representation. The menu is a "game". You have to move your cube to a blue area and press Space twice to even start playing. Same goes for quiting (or just press Alt+F4). This might be the worst menu i've seen since the Thunderbirds reboot movie DVD, which i still joke about with my brother.
