2001 WAS LIVE
2001 wasn't just any year in the NBA, or video games. Some of the best years in gaming history gave us GTA3, MGS2, SH2, THPS3, Halo, Jak and Daxter (the list goes on and on) while Kobe and Shaq was about to defend their first ring. This was before 2K and its domination in the video game hoops field and EA's court effort is actually really good.
The soundtrack is banging and takes me back to the start of the millennium, as does the team rosters and the players has me remembering all kinds of stuff. I love playing old titles like these regardless of if I owned this back then or not. I won the chip with the Knicks because we will never win anything ever in real life, so that was nice - and NBA Live 2001 sure is great to play on the move.
