Fishing for Strays

A game where you control a cat, sit in your boat and try to catch every kind of fish the sea has to offer to complete your Pokéd...FishCyclopedia. Each type of fish has different attributes and behaviors, so you have to adapt your techniques and equipment for the job. Bigger fish usually can be caught by using smaller fish as bait, but some of the real sea monsters require you to do special tasks or use unorthodox methods to prevail.

The more and rarer fish you catch, the more money you can make to upgrade your boat, rods and helper gadgets. One thing that bothered me about the update system is that to be able to buy a Deep Sea Sonar, the game wanted me to catch multiple hardly catchable fish from the deep sea. Like come on! You can also catch Baseball Caps for your cat which is a visual upgrade and a perk all in one. The economy system is not the best, a bit grindy and you have to buy the same upgrades multiple times if you want to switch between them, same with Baseball Caps, you can only own 1 at a time.

The game is still fun though, although I wouldn't call it casual. If you want to catch the Legendary fishes, you have to give your all as they can be quite tiresome. I wish they would update the game a bit to fix my issues with it, then I could gladly give it another star.
