FredLobster's review of Legendary Wings

One of the more memorable NES games from my childhood (and one of the few I actually managed to beat on the original console), Legendary Wings is a 1- or 2-player story about militant birdmen shooting up a whole hell of a lot of freaky bionic demon things. Gameplay is about 75% bullet hell with regular spurts of side-scrolling shoot 'em up thrown in. Difficulty and level design are better than average for an NES title, and the artwork and music are memorable and decently high-budget.
