Start Of A Very Neat Series, And Era For Children's PC Games. But Not For Adult Me.
This review is for the PC (Microsoft Windows) version

Preliminary: It's impressive how robust this is, everything is clickable so much to learn in it, so many different style games within it. However, I did not have the patience to play much of it. It trly is an edutainment game. Some games labeled that are barely focused on the educational piece, but this one certainly does. I would likely give this a 2 star but it was the first of its kind and impressive for its time and one of its sequels--I believe the inner body one--used to fascinate me as a kid.

Look: 8.5/10 I loved turning out the lights in the spaceship. And the whole Look was impressive for mid 94.

Sound: 8/10 Also impressive.

Play: 6.5/10 Robust, but pretty bad platforming when they have it and decidedly geared toward kids.

Feel: 7/10

Attachment: 6.5/10

Overall: 7.3/10

Who Else Misses The Scholastic Book Fair?

I had completely forgotten about this little piece of edutainment from my EARLY days of gaming. It's not amazing or anything, to be sure, but it DID teach me about the gravitational force of each planet in our solar system. Platforming on Jupiter sucks ass. It's not quite Interstellar, but I think that this was probably my first taste of the Space Dread genre, making me realize that a career as an astronaut was super not in the cards for me.
