Of all of the iterations of Football Manager that came out, this was the one I played the most. I made a serious effort to document the seasons I played and even recorded season recaps for all of the leagues in my game. Needless to say, this was extremely time consuming. At the time, I was suffering from serious insomnia and I would spend many nights awake copying match results. If memory serves, this was the last edition to feature the 2d match display. I don’t know that the 3D display has done much to improve the game as important detail is still missing. Despite not being a Liverpool fan, I did lead them to win the EPL trophy after a few seasons. I quit playing after that, iirc.
