This is the one I played the most. I loved all of the song variety and training on the various instruments.

1001 Games - #865
Pros: wide variety of master tracks from different genres, fairer pitch recognition in vocals, excellent multiplayer experience, plenty of replay value learning each instrument

Recommendation: I think Rock Band 2 was the height of peripheral-based music gaming. Not only did the track list have something for nearly every music fan, they were all master recordings, so no subpar covers. If you can find a friend willing to dig their old instruments out of the closet, play this game.
