This is a nice straightforward jrpig. Story is mostly cliche but with a little bit of a twist on the setup, gameplay is pretty straight with some nice powers, random battles are almost too much but not quite, everything is pretty easy except one battle so far.

This is a nice straightforward jrpig. Story is mostly cliche but with a little bit of a twist on the setup, gameplay is pretty straight with some nice powers, random battles are almost too much but not quite, everything is pretty easy except one battle so far.
I'm 5.5 hours in. Starting to get a bit bored...but its linearity actually helps. It doesn't waste a lot of my time except the occasional one too many random battle..
