This Jetsons game reminded me a lot of the two Chip 'n Dale titles on the NES, especially for its basic attack that consists of throwing boxes at the enemies.
As I see it, Cogswell's Caper is basically a slower and less fun version of the Chip 'n Dale games on the NES: the controls are not as responsive and it's very tedious to search through hundreds of boxes for HP hearts. The graphics and the music are fine, not very remarkable. As you beat the levels you get special attacks that cost energy points to use, although I saw them as necessary only in the last stages.
Oddly enough, my emulator ROM crashed on the concert stage, forcing me to download another emulator and search for the GameGenie code to activate Stage Select and be able to get back to where I was before. This process quickly exhausted my patience and for the rest of the game I just used savestates to complete it. The game is not very difficult, although the Blast Furnace level was a chore to beat.
I can't recommend this game, not even to Jetsons fans.
