Whack-A-Prehistoric Animal, & Revel In The Tomy Tutor Look
This review is for the Tomy Tutor / Pyuta / Grandstand Tutor version

Look: 8/10 Absolutely beautiful, the Tomy Tutor is in general, I love the colors and vibes. enter image description here

Great sprites for its time too enter image description here

Ohhhh, I did a little research: despite its name, the Tomy Tutor isn't purely a kids device. It was basically a TI-99 (games on which I've been impressed with). I guess these goofy, cheap microcomputers' exclusives appeal to me more than TRS and Atari 8-bit ones :-p

Sound: 6/10 I mean it certainly got annoying pretty fast, but it's still nice to hear actual "music" like I usually say. Plus it's honestly good

Play: 6/10 While I really wanted to love this, due to the colors and general vibe/setting, it was just a bit too clunky for me. Not bad, just not worth pushing through and getting better at. I bet the later MSX port is real solid, may have to give it a try someday.

Attachment: 7/10 I doubt I will be returning to this, …

Attachment: 7/10 I doubt I will be returning to this, due to the gameplay, but I also doubt I will forget it! And I think I will likely show my brothers at least the look and see if they can do better at it.
