King Arthur and the Knights of Justice, for SNES
Rating: 3.0/10; Bad
Not worth playing by anyone.
This game is a 2D hack and slash action adventure, similar in style to the Legend of Zelda. While the premise of the game is somewhat interesting, as you get the backstory and objectives from an opening sequence and talking to Merlin, the game very quickly degenerates once you get outside the starting castle. Literally within minutes of stepping outside I knew this game was going to be boring and tedious. Combat is very simple with 2 different types of block, an attack and some kind of meter which goes down when you attack but otherwise does not seem to affect anything. Hide behind your shield and attack between the attacks of enemies, or let your AI partners do the work.

The first quest involved finding a wall of fire blocking your way, then returning to Merlin to be told you have to go back to the same area and look for ingredients. I found one, which was just lying around on the ground. While wandering around looking for the others, the game kept freezing. Apparently the game has a tendency to freeze if you go somewhere not part of the current quest.
After about 1 hour of play, I stopped with no intention of ever going back.
