I blitzed through this in three days, playing most of it on a deeply unhealthy Saturday during which I played for a total of 12 hours. Really enjoyed it. I was pleasantly surprised that the experience was tense and spooky without being outright scary (which I find kinda wearying in games). I found the final part (Winter) rather easy compared to some of the earlier sections; I played on Normal difficulty, so I might try Hard mode if I ever replay this.

We watched the first episode of the TV adaptation last night. I need to play Left Behind before we reach the episode that adapts its story.

FINALLY started playing this last night, motivated by my wife & I wanting to watch the TV series & my desire to play the game first.

Itʼs more approachable than I expected, being quite similar to Uncharted in terms of design, mechanics, & storytelling (albeit with an added focus on stealth) & not particularly scary – although perhaps the scares come later. (I'm usually very easily scared by video games.) In the first three-or-so hours Iʼve played so far, I had fun.
