The Worst Shmup Ever

I don't care much for shoot 'em ups but i generally do enjoy the basic gameplay - dodging and shooting enemies.

Endless Zone doesn't even get that right. You move at a snail's pace and if that wasn't bad enough you can't smoothly dodge horizontally either because the ship turns around if you try to move in the opposite direction. And on top of all that you don't have a shield and only 3 lives. You can buy more lives but at the cost of buying new weapons and ammo for them. Yes, advanced weapons have limited ammo too - no joke.

The game also just randomly throws enemies at you instead of having some sort of buildup or waves. Honestly, it's kind of impressive they managed to get everything wrong. Endless Zone is the perfect example of what not to do.

Meh.
This review is for the PC (Microsoft Windows) version

I cannot complain that much about Endless Zone, though. It has flaws, of course, but as a free game, it’s certainly worth your while, like one try and that's it.
