A new favorite HOPA point and click horror game
And yet another piece of gold in the Big Fish Catalog. For every 10 games I sample, I’ll find one that totally clicks for me, and this is one of the all time best.

It’s got it all. A unique spooky atmosphere, where you crash in the middle of a Midwest cornfield and have to survive, meeting a strange cast of southern characters with thick accents. The art style is amazing, with hand painted environments and FMV characters (great casting too).
And the gameplay is a perfect balance. Every hidden object game (of which there’s maybe only 6 or 7) are really just mini games where you unlock a sequence of events - a much more engaging time than just iSpy / where’s Waldo. There’s plenty of backtracking and a variety of well designed logic puzzles and inventory puzzles.
But ya, this is an example of why I give this strange genre the time of day. I bet I’m one of maybe 100 people that have even heard of this game, yet I think it could be a cult classic. I loved it and it’s definitely a top 3 game in the genre for me.
