Preliminary: Ah, another classic-Speccy look with the classic-Speccy clickclickclick sound for walking a la Atic Atac, even seemingly with the 3-item inventory and similar UI. And I was questioning that it was an action-adventure since you get tasks and complete them, but indeed, it seems to have that Speccy action-adventure feel to it, almost like completing quests, albeit with a funny situation of being at a department store? I will have to figure it out lol. I am definitely intrigued. And plus, with just 39 screens and the full playthrough video being about 40 mins, this seems doable! Those Speccy action-adventure and action games that pride themselves on having 400+ screens were just so monotonous and repetitive after a while--39 should be just right, it had good reviews, and seems like an original take on the classic Speccy action-adventure! I hope I'm not overhyping it... Hmmm, after researching a bit I'm sad to see while there is an "ending," you are asked if you want to just do all the tasks again. I was hoping you rise up against Sir and the customers or some sort of climactic ending! Not just an offer to re-play the game as is heh. …

The game starts at 9:05 in the morning. You will be asked to complete various tasks throughout the day either by customers or by Sir, all of which have to be completed within a given time limit.
Look: 7/10 That classic Speccy look, in such a unique setting I definitely have not seen a department store look yet on the Speccy ha.
Sound: -/- Annoying clicking
Play: 6/10 Really tight controls, funny concept, and technically good execution (especially for its time). But just too darn hard for me. Just getting the Gun was too annoying! If you are good at Speccy games, though, this is more than worth your time. I really want to give it a mercy 7 here to get it to a 3 but I have to stay true to my system. This is a highly recommended game, despite my rating!
Lol I love these descriptions:
Characters There are a variety of characters in the store who affect Grumpy in different ways
Hippy - the most easy going of the bunch doesn't get in Grumpy's way at all
Old Woman - generally seem to do their best to get in Grumpy's way then call him a clumsy oaf
Young Woman - not so much of a problem as the old women but get in the way nonetheless
Men - about the same amount of bother as young women
Kids - a real pain, they move quickly and will make Grumpy drop his objects if they run in to him
Policemen - Break your spectacles with their truncheons – beware!
Feel: 7/10 Lol! You can get fired for many reasons but some of the funniest are if you carry the bottle of booze for too long so you smell like ale, and if you let the fire get out of hand so the store burns down (makes sense you'd get fired, hehehe...). Getting interrupted to go home or have to get the 14:30 drink is super annoying, and it seems the only workaround is to use a cheat argh. I was hoping not to have to cheat with this one since the explanations for the tasks were really thorough and helpful. It wound up being essentially unplayable for my level of skill and engagement with Speccy games, but for a true Speccy fan or a true gamer, this is a great game worth a try!
Attachment: 7/10 I have this urge to return to this and give it another try, but I know it's not going to click with my playing style. It is, as expected, a classic Speccy action-adventure game but in a funny situation, with clever limitations and system for Warnings/time. No nonsense of food/stamina etc. It has every element for a game for me to love! But I just couldn't engage with the difficult Speccy gameplay. Maybe some day...
Completion: Didn't even successfully complete the first task (Ducks on Ground Floor) :( Playtime: ~35 mins
