This is another AGS point and click by Wandering Adventures. Unfortunately, this is only one of two I can find, both released in 2006 and seemingly afterwards the dev completely moved on from making games.

This one is pretty perfect. Unlike Duty and Beyond, this one has higher resolution pixel art that looks great, along with the amazing puzzle design that was in the other game. It’s only about 20 minutes long, and was supposed to be a prelude to a series of games.

It is just super sad to find stuff like this. There’s no way to even find who this dev is (I’ve tried) and encourage them to keep going… this game is 18 years old at this point! I suppose they will both be niche games lost to history, but I am one soul in 2024 that found and truly appreciated them. I really hope the dev is doing well and who knows, maybe they will show up again some day.
