Just did a replay and it’s still just such a tight and well-designed experience. A couple things that I think could be improved: the map really does suck, there is no easy way to access the map, the hard difficulty is IMPOSSIBLE, and I do wish the game was a bit longer. But still, one of my personal favorites of that year and still 5 stars.

I played and finished all three of the Selewi survival horror games today on my day off, and wow did they perfect the formula on this one. The unique brand of survival horror puzzles, menacing psychopaths relentlessly following you, and the classic PSX graphics combine here into one of my favorite horror games of the year (a STACKED year at that).
I love this game so much - and I don’t even like stalker type enemies. The puzzles and exploration are just so good here, along with the fantastic voice acting, cinematic fixed cameras and interesting narrative. While I would give Night of the Scissors a 2/5 and Cannibal Abduction a 3/5 - this jumps to a 5/5 in my books.

It’s much longer, there is FINALLY a map (though still a bit minimalistic), and every skill set showed in previous titles is pretty much perfected here. I am officially a diehard fan and I’m so happy for the developer. They took their time developing their style, and now they’ve put out (what I hope is one in a long line of) a fantastic survival horror game. If you appreciate old school survival horror, this is as much a must-buy as Crow Country, Conscript and Fear the Spotlight.
Amazing work!
