Look: 5/10 I mean they made due with what they could, but nothing exciting here. Very Rogue-esque.
Sound: 6/10 Some of the music is great and early console-esque, but mostly just redundant
Play: 6/10 It kind of reminded me of that early shoplifting “stealth game” that I respected but didn’t get fully into: same could be said of this. Great idea, hinted at the later survival horror genre for sure like Hunt the Wumpus, but not particularly fun or worth all the trouble I went through to play it ha. It technically is fun, terse gameplay that's worthy of praise, but just not that fun for me.
Feel: 7/10 Again, innovative with its precedents in its concept, but execution could use a lot!
Attachment: 7/10 I double I will be replaying this except just to briefly show other gamers/family early survival horror concepts. Otherwise, I am excited to get to the 90s with Clocktower and whatnot, oooo I am just so excited for the games I used to read about in magazines when I was a kid, like I think it was some of the Lunar RPG games or something, I always read a partial guide for it without ever …

Love nostalgia, and I am almoooossst kinddaaaaa getting to that era. The 80s is gonna take a while tho ha. I’m nervous since I am skipping RPGs right now, but I think once I’m in the console and JRPG era I will start playing them again. I might not go for my usual RPG goal of maxed out characters and beating every optional facet of the game, but I think/hope I will be back to giving RPGs an earnest try. The Dunjonquest, Zork, and other early microcomputer “RPG”s really have been turning me off, plus the later PLATO ones getting overly convoluted for my taste, e.g., Avatar.
