Abalone is one of those board games in which both sides are completely equal and the trick is to outmanouver the opponent by thinking ahead. Abalone is a clever twist on the genre. Abalone is one of those board games in which both sides are completely equal and the trick is to outmanouver the opponent by thinking ahead. Abalone is a clever twist on the genre. You have to push enemy pieces off the side of the board instead of jumping over/surrounding them, and you can move up to 3 of your pieces in the same direction as long as they are in a straight line. I don't care for this kind of thing, but if you like checkers, dammen, go and such this may be for you.
