It's relatively quiet and chill right now during summer school, so I was playing this a bit on my phone and decided to see if it was listed on Grouvee to rate. I typically just play a few puzzles to wind down before bed. It's cute, and it's an interesting take on a crossword puzzle system.
All of the words in a given puzzle are the same length and horizontal, stacked on top of each other. There is a word or phrase that goes with a theme for that puzzle set that will be revealed as you solve words, and this is the only vertical word. You can fill in any word at any time, fill in individual letters, or solve the vertical word/phrase to help you out with some of the tougher words.
Early on in each puzzle, solving a word will reveal a few letters of other words. There are also some cute little bugs that act as hints: reveal a specific letter, reveal some letters, reveal a word, etc.

I've been playing mobile word games sporadically since I had my first iPod Touch and no smart phone yet, but I've always kind of stuck to the ones where you make as many words as possible from a jumble of letters, or the ones where you do that to fill in a "crossword" that doesn't have clues. I like puzzle books and sudoku and stuff, but was never really into crosswords themselves. I do really like this game, though.
