A decent American movie
I would recommend to read what I'm gonna say if you are interested in this game, even if I gave it 2 stars. I have reasons to do that, but it's not really an unplayable game or anything.

The game is more or less what anyone could expect from it: a linear, simple shooter with a story about American soldiers against a dangerous enemy. Nothing new, actually.
The plot is... actually decent. It's like those American action movies that tell you what you have watched tons of times, but turn out to be entertaining and solid enough. The plot is simple, yet solid. You are Turok, you are on a dangerous planet with dinosaurs and you have to kill the bad guy. But there are multiple situations, some plotwists and even character development. It's pretty basic, but it works.
The gameplay is as basic as it could be. A shooter as you have watched tons of times, with some flaws. Do you want that? Well, then you maybe like this one. It could be a better shooter, without a doubt, but it's not that bad, so if you are a shooters fan you can enjoy this one. Some flaws were annoying to me, such as enemies killing you too fast in some areas, or some checkpoints (I really had a problem with one of these), but I can't say they are awful flaws.
So this one is as basic as you can expect, but if you are into it, it can be an enjoyable linear adventure.
