Goldfinger 64 is a fan re-imagining of the 1997 Nintendo 64 game Goldeneye 007. The goal of the project is to replace all 20 of the original Goldeneye levels and missions with new ones, based on the 1964 movie Goldfinger.

Was OK but a downgrade from the original.

Goldfinger 64 isn't a romhack of Goldeneye 64, but a complete stand alone total conversion. The idea here is a pretty lofty one: that of making the whole Goldfinger movie (one of my favorite classic bond films) into a game, and doing so bypassing typical ROM limits of the N64. The result is a game that is very big, very slow, and sometimes very confusing! (Read On) enter image description here
The 1960's Uzi with wood stock is pretty cool

I'm a fan of the original game Goldeneye 64. I know the game really well. I pick it up time to time to play so my conclusion that this game is sub rate isn't one tinged by nostalgia. There are some levels in this I really like (the first three are great places to go clear room by room in) But for the most part I didn't like the philosophy of this: Make bigger maps, so big they slow down and lag. So big they are full of empty space. Overall it works and the slowdown is only mildly annoying and there aren't too many breaking glitches.

Love Goldeneye and James Bond? You maybe wanna check this out, otherwise move on.

Randomly came across this at archive.org. Hope to finish it today. Man, 007 Goildeneye is actually a pretty lengthy game to get through (but i've forgotten since i've played it so many times I know everything in the game) and playing this has reminded me of that fact.
