I liked this game. I had it as a child and found it fun. There was only one place I could ever find to hide, and I played it by myself, still I liked wandering around a virtual house.

I went back and played it last night and mechanically combed through to get every single hiding place using a guide. The game actually has 20 hiding spots, but some are just there in a hidden pixe, and requires you to collide with it just right. This makes SnP very romhack-worthy to fill in what's missing (such as a car on the driveway for example, or other bits of furniture in the house) as it just feels incomplete.

For it's time this was impressive in the sense you had an adventure game that had a cool house to roam through, and some attempt at music. And also a brilliant co-op concept too really. it's a shame that the furniture is missing and there are some other technical limitations that hold it back.

Sneak and peak is probably the oldest 'stealth' game i've played (while stealth genre is variable, this is still a stretch to call it a stealth game) since then there have been a few games that go in different places with the same basic concept (The Hidden)
