Neat Premise That Fails to Impress

I was initially intrigued by Swap Fire's mechanic of shooting other players to swap positions with them, giving off a Portal vibe. However, for the single player at least, this mechanic is extremely disorienting. Sometimes a group of players gathered together causes you to swap all over the place, while other times everything could seem barren and then you're suddenly surprised with a swap. The game also has lots of performance issues, ugly models, and a plain UI.
However, I did find enjoyment out of the gameplay when the swaps weren't disorienting me. I also really liked the voice acting in the tutorial and the cutscenes that played between cups, but that's not enough for me to recommend this game.
