This game started out great but started to taper off. Lacuna was great because the cases were solvable with information you have. In this game, I could get most of the puzzles but for some of them, there was no way to figure it out without a walkthrough, like how to grow a lemon or the doors to select in the game or that you’re supposed to punch Nick only after saying the same thing to him multiple times. These moon logic solutions are very frustrating and it felt like every chapter had at least two of them.

I like the three main characters well enough. They seem like standard 80s movie tropes. The story, overall, is kind of lame, though and the voice acting is bad. The various robot voices were especially bad. They’re all the same person with different vocoders.

Still it’s got a fun 80s vibe, some halfway decent humor and a nicely depicted friendship between three young men. If you like difficult point and click mysteries, you could do worse but you could also do a lot better.

I enjoyed the opening scene of this game so much I restarted just to see it again. How an indie game managed to license a fairly popular song is pretty amazing!!
