There are 12 full 18 hole courses along with a 1 Par 3 short course. It contains all content from the 1st Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee game including courses and characters, so this game is more like an "Enhanced" edition. The single-player is quite lengthy to unlock all courses and even a robust array of character customization options.
