This game has gotten some slack for being a "hollow knight ripoff". It is not. It's inspired by it, but when you get down to it, it has its own style, and a lot of the biomes feel very different and are a lot more colorful. Of course, it's still a similar game. It's made by a small passionate team of two and is a clear labour of love. And anyway, didn't everyone want more Hollow Knight?!

It's pretty good. It's not a work of genius like Hollow Knight is. It's not that long and mostly everything in it is "just fine", like the bosses are reeeal simple. The level design was pretty good though and there were lots of cool gimmicks. I like all the biomes. There's a few little unique things that surprised me sprinkled throughout the game, which is good - a lot of games these days you kind of just always know exactly what to expect.

Honestly, I kinda liked it more than Crypt Custodian...
