Desolation is a hack that either I dismissed (possibly by being overwhelmed) or flew under my radar. It is massive, and quite an impressive labyrinth to explore. I definitely recommend it for Metroid veterans if you want something to really sink your teeth into.

There are secret passages absolutely everywhere. It has some cool original upgrades that are optional and some really nice pathing. The game gets a little confusing in the final third, and doesn’t quite stick the landing for me (the ending especially), but it is a great bang for your time hack.

Not S tier (like super Junkoid and subversion) but possibly A or B. Would’ve just liked some more invisible hand guidance - especially for the screw attack - and a more fleshed out ending.
