Fan Service. Lots of it. Sort of.

I really wanted to love this game. I enjoy musous and this really wasn't different in my book. Except it was. The enemies weren't nearly as numerous and the game play never really made me feel awesome. I loved Bleach, and this was alot of fan service that really just didn't follow through. Which is surprising considering the amount of love the Naruto series gets for their games. Too bad, Sad Panda.

It's a short game with little to offer but it still has its charm.

The character design is beautiful, the voice acting is great and the movements seem quite fluid, but the game lacks a bit in the modes it offers. The attacks the characters use could have more diversity, the camera angles could be a lot better and the enemies could offer more diversity. After a few minutes playing, it gets tiring to fight the same generic enemies over and over, hearing the same sounds they make over and over. I loved how they made secondary characters playable and I found the upgrading mode very interesting. Still, the game modes do get boring, like Time Attack and some challenges, because the scenarios are repetitive, simple and the enemies too. I feel like with a little more of effort this game would have been a lot richer. I really enjoyed it, I think most Bleach fans will enjoy this game as well, but I feel it had a lot more potential.
