Joke-RPG that is a bit heavy handed on it's humor

this game feels like a strange inspiration from beat em ups like bad dudes, double dragon and final fight. IT mixes and matches some elements of those with turn based RPGs. This isn't bad, its a little jerky and not so fluid but it's nice to have some strategy to your brawling. You can pace yourself and let go of combos and then engage another target.
The trouble is there just isn't that much 'meat' on this game. You have these static 'encounter' scenes then go back to a very linear overworld map, progress to the next area, and that's pretty much the game.
Oh the cutscenes... The humor is off putting from the beginning. There is this overbearing attempt to poke fun at racism... Millennials, pretty much everything and by the end it's just not funny anymore.
