Critters for Sale is an odd indie point and click adventure game that plays more closely to a visual novel or choose your own adventure book. There are a total of 5 small stories that can technically be played in any order, but to be able to "complete" the game, you must complete the first four before tackling the last as the four prior stories will give you information required to finish the final.

The story is basically small stories revolving around time travel, destiny, and invasions. It's best to go into this blind as the story is both something you will have seen before, as well as taking some turns that you absolutely will not expect.

There is a unique graphic style that is a weird mix of dot matrix printing aesthetic, and weird CGI. It looks really cool, but at times with some of the movement it can cause some dizziness. If you have even the slightest of epileptic tendencies though AVOID THIS GAME. There are some major flashing moments that would easily trigger epilepsy.

It's a short, but weird as hell experience. I finished it in just over 3 hours. At full price of $10, it's still a decent price for the experience. Often going on sale on Steam, I definitely recommend it!
