Controls broken - couldn't play at all

I don't know if it's just that the controller mappings were broken somehow, or if this game just straight up doesn't work, but I couldn't pick up anything. The pick-up button just did nothing. And for a game whose purpose is to pick up loot, that's kind of a deal breaker.
