This isn't deep. The story is kind of amusing... But it's very sparse. It's way too easy to max out your upgrades and this is essentially going to take you a smigdeon longer to finish than you could to go and get a refund lol.
HOLEY MOLEY THAT ENDING

the upgrade trees could have been a lot longer. it would have been nice to have a big upgrade tree for the dynamite as well (But maybe that would make it too easy)
I managed to complete it in about an hour and a half my first try, then went for all the easter eggs, secrets, etc (there's not a lot of stuff lol)... Shame it's so short, there's not much replay value. If you are curious, but don't wanna buy, this sort of thing is perfect for a Let's Play IMO.

It's true.... you do dig a hole.
The physics are very satisfying.
Very short game though and I'm not a fan of the ending.

It is rather cathartic like Powerwash Simulator. I hope there is a second one that has more upgrade and more things to find. By the end, I had so much money but nothing to spend it on. Worth a few bucks, though!

It is what is says it is - a game about digging a hole. You dig and dig and collect and dig and upgrade and dig some more.
There is a semblance of a story, but I didn't find any secrets of easter eggs that might hint at anything deeper than what you see on the surface.
But the gameplay …

But the gameplay is kinda relaxing and scratches that primal urge to just... dig a hole.
