It's not exactly the same as picross, but very similar puzzle sovling is needed. This works great on the 3DS and is a very relaxing experience.

Picross 3D: Round 2

Pretty much all of the changes from the first one are welcome, even if the biggest one that affects gameplay flow, the "show me the row/column where the next logical move is possible" button, often led me to question exactly what kind of logic the game expected of me. Still a good show, functionally it's a lot like the navigation function in other 2D picross games that effectively does the same thing. The extra amiibo puzzles that are conspicuously way more detailed than anything else in the game are also neat, even if the generic descriptions they're given are pretty disappointing.

Nintendo called my bluff

I've had this in my wish list since it arrived on the eShop in 2016. I love Picross, but $30 seemed a little steep, so I thought I'd wait for a sale.

The eShop is closing for good next week, and there's Picross 3D: Round 2, still holding strong at $29.99.

So I finally bought the stupid thing.

And it's the best Picross game I've ever played.

It's relaxing, it's rewarding, it improves on every aspect of the original. I absolutely love it.

Better then the first

Some quality of life improvements make this better than the first. Still pretty much the same game though. Suffers from the same issue all picross games do...once you know how to solve them there's not much discovery left. Still, a great before bed game.

Also the things you make are, as always, fun and interesting.
