Grind Zones is one of those filthy abandoned startup projects in which you pay a small amount for a Unity Tech Demo, beat it in half an hour and never touch or think of it again.
Such is the case here. You create some kind of ugly abomination that is resembling a human, pick up a sword and start killing random mobs. There is no story, no clear objective, just progress further through a linear road.
You meet generic zombies and skeletons along the way, which you must fight with the God awful controls and mechanics.
The graphics are terrible. Many developers try to use “jolly and playful” animations, to hide their inability to create something decent. The music is blend and generic. The controls are basic but feel stiff and broken.
By far, the absolute worst part, is when you exit the forest and enter some castle/dungeon. Here, you walk five steps, kill some skeletons and then see a broken bridge. You would think that you need to find some way around it or find an alternate path, but no, this is it. The literal end of the game.
The rest beyond “will be completed somewhere in the future, …

It is cr@p like this I hate the most.
In about an hour, I “completed” the game, unlocked all the achievements and explored every inch of the map.
I spit on this game and regret the hour of my life that was wasted.
