Hammerfight is a 2D physics-based action game where you control an aircraft with your mouse. Your aircraft can be equipped with various slashing and crushing weapons, which are all effective at crushing through armor and slamming them into a wall. There are a large variety of weapons to unlock, including swords, hammers, maces, and even guns. There is an extensive campaign and arena and hunt game modes.

Guran's review of Hammerfight
Whats best about Hammerfight is that its unique and innovative. I'm not sure if it actually works out though. It can be very pleasing to get a smashing blow with your hammer, but the tempo is so high so mostly I just turn the mouse around in circles like crazy and thats no fun. I didnt come too far into the story as difficulty ramps up too quickly.
