Switch port problem?

I played this game on the Switch.

Fobia is a simple platformer game, where you just have to run and jump through obstacles. Sometimes there will be little puzzles to solve, but nothing gets complicated.

It looks are pretty good and clean, and the music and sounds complete the atmosphere. The controls are very responsive, so moving the character is very seamless.

Why did I give the game one star? I ran into a problem, and I'm thinking it could be a port issue for the Switch. From what I see, this game was mainly made for phones and tablets, but I may be wrong.

About halfway through the game, I got stuck in a part where a platform breaks and a big boulder rolls down and crushes you. Apparently you just have to run away as soon as the platform breaks and you can make it out alive. Well, I can't. I tried so many times on my own. Then I watched videos, and tried to imitate what they did. Nothing worked. It made me sad, because I like the concept of this little game, but it is impossible for me to finish. Has anyone else run into this …

Has anyone else run into this problem, or am I just super horrible at running away🥲?

Probably Stay Away

Very short. And not good.

"A beautiful but challenging indie game about fears, phobias and overcoming them.

A little girl tries to escape from her fears overcoming various obstacles in her path."

That's the description of the game. What she's scared of? I have no idea. Bears? Wolves? But in reality what I think she's scared of bad controls in video games.

They were awful. Horrible. Enough to almost make me quit. There is cheap deaths. And annoying stuff you don't know how to pass until you die on it at least once. This is a frustrating implementation of teaching you what to do or how to play.

But it is very short, which is probably the only reason I finished this game.

The one thing I will say I enjoyed were the sound effects and the graphics. If you were to look at a screenshot of this game it's striking. All black and white except for the girl who is dressed in a red overcoat that stands out in a sublime way. The sound effects give ambience and atmosphere in a positive way.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this game to anyone. Got it for "free" through Google Play Pass …

Honestly, my only phobia now is ever accidentally opening this game up again.

Because I hate it.
