Life After Magic immediately caught my eye due to its Y2K visual aesthetic but the storyline earned its worth too as you follow the lives of a retired magical girl group while they come to terms with the everyday struggle of adulthood and PTSD from their crime-fighting days. You play as Akiko, the former leader of this group, as she juggles work, friendships, and romance. How Akiko spends her day is up to you and your decisions will impact who you grow closer with and what ending you receive. This game is especially perfect to play during the holidays as the story takes place from Dec. 20th - Jan. 1st.
