Article: Wolfenstein TV Series Reportedly In Development At Amazon

Amazon MGM Studios is developing a live-action TV series based on Wolfenstein, according to a Variety report. The series is being helmed by Fallout producer Patrick Somerville.

According to Variety, the show’s tagline is “The story of killing Nazis is evergreen.” There are no additional plot details beyond that. Somerville will serve as creator, writer, executive producer, and showrunner.

Other names attached to Wolfenstein are Fallout and Westworld showrunners Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, who will serve as executive producers. Athena Wickham will also executive produce via Kilter Films alongside Keyframe Films’ James Altman. MachineGames, developer of the modern Wolfenstein games, will be represented in the production by Jerk Gustafsson, director/designer of Wolfenstein: The New Order.
