Fun, Quick, Straightforward -- How I Like My Handheld Platformers. But, Uh, Mute It

Preliminary: Terrible music, biut oddly hooking gameplay.

Day 1

Yea wow can't believe I'm already in the third "World" lol. It's one of those Mario-type games where you just can't put it down. It's flawed for sure, but the level design hooks you in and eases you in and makes it hard to put down becasue it repeats, sure, but not to the point that you wanna stop. The music, though, is terrible so I have it turned down. (At a certain point I had to outright mute it)

I think this could be fun to speed run. It has the right level designs for quick jumps and jsut running along and punching/projectiling what comes along and having fun.

Lol the World 2 boss was... lame. And welp already at World 4, apparently the final world. Short and sweet, a positive to Gameboy limitations for platformers.

The final bosses finally had a bit of challenge, but even that was very managable. Some definitely faults in the game, but overall a fun platformer and impressive enough for a 93 Gameboy game. The ending was very... abrupt. We found the treasure I guess?

Feel: 7/10 The Sound and Look really dragged this down.

Attachment: 7.5/10 Good option for mutable platformers. Often I want the sound to fully delve into a game, but this has terrible music so I guess taht's a plus that I would be willing to watch a movie or something while playing it haha. But that role was one of the main reasons I kept playing OSRS (and now Bitcraft instead), since I would never watch or try out new movies etc if I were always playing backlog retro games that I need the Sound on for. Anyway, point being, there's a role for these.

Overall: 7.1/10
