Not long ago, we were discussing game ratings here on Grouvee and a few, including me, talked against using numbers (or stars or whatever) to rate games.
Yesterday, I was writing the review for this game (the remake for Switch). It's a good game and I was ready to give a 7/10 or 7.5/10. But then I re-read my article and noticed that I couldn't justify that. Despite some localization issues, Mr. Driller DrillLand does everything right. There's absolutely nothing wrong or mediocre about it. How could I give it... I don't know... less than an 8/10?
But I DIDN'T WANTED to give it an 8/10. I didn't 'feel it'. I talked with my editor about it and he reminded me that there's no objective reviews and I could give the number I feel.
At the end, we settled on an 7.9/10, but I really wished I didn't needed to use numbers. The articles should tell you everything you need to know.
Anyway, here's the review in spanish in case you wanna read it.
