I was wandering around my local Half Priced Books and saw this (what i thought at the time) little gem of a game. I picked it up for about $10 thinking it would be like the Road Rash games i had played on the Sega Genesis and PS1 growing up...Oh, how wrong i was!
It presents itself more like an open world third person racer with a five star GTA cop system, a boring story taking place in a future Detroit where there's walled in districts and crime abound! Random things about the story telling irked me as I played. The voice actors would swear and then the dialogue boxes would sensor the naughty word they just said with a "F**k" and other oddities left me less than interested in the bare bones story of saving a friend, making some money and sometimes running away from cops.
The AI was as bad at racing as the controls felt for me. The cops frequently just drove in circles and couldn't enter other districts. (also side note - for anyone attempting to play this game. Any and all "Escape the Police" missions can be completed by just hitting pause after the 3,2,1 …

Any and all "Escape the Police" missions can be completed by just hitting pause after the 3,2,1 and you will win the mission in 30 seconds...also a great way to grind for money as you sometimes need more to buy a new motorcycle needed for the next story mission, because for some reason the one you are currently using is not allowed).
I never really figured our how to reliably hit my opponents with my hockey stick my motorbike driver wielded before the foe motor-biker whacked me off my ride. There are also a lot of weapons to unlock but unfortunately that game doesn't ever tell you what to do to unlock them so I never did get to use the crossbow, the shotgun or even the taser (and I platinumed this beast which included whacking 1000 civilians with weapons for a trophy - do this in front of the airport because cops won't drive there for some reason and NPCs respawn there frequently).
IDK What the hell this "Shop" is I found at the Airport!?!
Overall, steer clear of this one unless you are just interested in a quick platinum with no enjoyment besides witnessing the numerous bugs and glitches a game can offer: cars flipping every which way, NPC racer markers staying on the screen well past their need, instant respawn deaths, fences that are built like Fort Knox and building walls that came from a holodeck to name a few...you've been warned.
